Big League Fantasy ("Big League", "we") runs bigleaguefantasysports.com, a free fan-run fantasy football site based in Australia. We collect as little as we can and we never sell your information or use it for advertising.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address, display name and a securely stored password, if you create an account.
- Your leagues: the Sleeper (or other) leagues and teams you add in My teams, so My Week, Rankings and alerts work for you.
- What you post: live chat messages, tipping picks, Rankings Contest entries and anything else you choose to submit. Chat messages and leaderboard names are visible to other visitors.
- Notifications: if you turn on lineup alerts, we store the notification address your browser gives us so we can send them. You can turn them off at any time.
- Settings on your device: the site stores preferences (such as your scoring setting and saved leagues) in your browser's local storage. These stay on your device.
We don't collect your real name, address, payment details or location, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To run your account and the features you use, such as My Week, lineup alerts, tipping and the contest.
- To show chat messages, leaderboards and posts on the site.
- To keep the site safe, for example by removing abuse from the chat.
Services we rely on
Big League is built on a few outside services, which handle data for us under their own privacy policies:
- Supabase stores accounts, leagues, chat, picks and contest entries.
- Netlify hosts the website.
- Sleeper, FantasyCalc and ESPN supply public league data, player values, stats and scores. When you load a league, your browser fetches it from Sleeper directly.
- Google Fonts supplies the site's fonts.
- Anthropic powers AI-written content such as injury fantasy impacts. No personal information is sent to it.
- Google Drive stores videos and images made by Big League staff in our Studio tool. It is used only by our team, not by visitors.
Google user data
Big League Studio, our staff-only video tool, uses Google Drive only to save and open the files Studio itself creates (Google's drive.file permission). It cannot see any other files in the Drive. We don't share this data with anyone, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Big League's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your information while your account is open. To change your display name or password, use Account settings in the account menu. To delete your account and everything linked to it, email admin@bigleaguefantasysports.com from the address on your account and we'll remove it within 30 days.
Children
Big League isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
